I think an idea behind all of this is that we lack dps to continue (bump in the road) so we are gearing mains plus gearing mains of people on the bench so we can ultimately achieve our goals of putting the next bosses on the kill list. And yes it does somewhat suck for alts to to be forced to roll greed but is it really 100% bad? Gear will eventually start going to greed.


@stabby- I think it is a good idea in theory. for straight dps classes it would be cake because with rogues, locks, mages, ect 1 person= 1 lead. but when you get hybrid specs you 2-3 leads per class... to many leads/ officer imo. Also there are people out there that I know of in the guild that would take offense to an "officer lead" .  We might want to just encourage people to download recount (or other addon-ons that record dmg) or even look at the stats on Worldoflogs.com so they can keep track of their dmg and see if it improves or not. and if it doesn't look to see who is improving and shinning on the charts and ask them for advice. I know most everyone is willing to discuss theorycrafting with other people especially if it is for the good of the raid.

Food for thought here that kinda goes with lack of dps to progress.
Don't get lax with your main because we are opening doors for people to prove themselves and adavance. and if you aren't pulling the dps that is required for us to move forward there might be someone that is. friendly competition ftw!

Then again if you are playing an alt, you've probably already got your round of rolling Need on your main earlier any way, so really there's nothing unfair about it.  My original concern was if a bunch of weak alts will really help with the raid but I guess you can gear them up fairly well just with badges.
